Stretch il carrello elevatore robotizzato di Boston Dynamics è stato acquistato da DHL.
L’investimento complessivo è per $15 million e permetterà di scaricare automaticamente i camion della società.
A Settala (MI), DHL ha aperto il primo Bio Pharma Hub (magazzino frigorifero) dove team specializzato può gestire la logistica di prodotti farmaceutici che necessitano di una temperatura controllata.
Solitamente è sufficiente una temperatura costante attorno agli zero gradi, ma la struttura è in grado di gestire anche temperature da -20°C fino a -80°C per speciali medicinali.
La logistica spaziale vede protagonista anche un’azienda italiana, la comasca (Fino Mornasco) D-Orbit con la soluzione InOrbit NOW.
Nello specifico ION Satellite Carrier è il satellite cargo sviluppato dall’azienda in collaborazione con DHL Global Forwarding.
Il satellite cargo verrà spedito a gennaio da Cape Canaveral (Florida).
